For Australian employment services organisations

The application readiness layer for employment services.

Lumora is not another AI resume builder. It gets a participant's resume and application documents to a standard your consultants can work from, before the appointment starts.

Participants arrive prepared. Consultants spend their time coaching.

  • Free pilot for up to 10 participants
  • 14 days, starting when your pilot is activated
  • No card required, and no card is held
  • No contract, and no automatic conversion or billing
  • At the end, access pauses and you choose whether to subscribe
  • No experience, qualifications or achievements invented

Want the numbers before you apply? See the published organisation plans. Monthly or annual, in Australian dollars including GST. A plan starts only when someone authorised at your organisation chooses one at checkout. Nothing converts automatically.

What Lumora is

An application readiness layer, not a resume builder.

Most tools in this space try to be a career platform. Lumora does one narrow thing well: it makes a participant's application good enough that a recruiter reads it, and it does that without inventing a single fact. It is meant to sit alongside whatever case management or participant platform you already run, not to compete with it.

What it is

  • An application readiness layer. It takes the resume a participant already has and gets it to a standard a recruiter will actually read.
  • A diagnosis first, in plain English, ordered by what is costing them interviews rather than by a checklist.
  • Truthful, targeted documents for a specific job ad, built only from what the participant has really done.
  • Self service for the participant, on a phone, in one sitting, with no consultant licence to administer.

What it is not

  • Not another AI resume builder that writes a career someone has not had.
  • Not a case management system, a job board, an auto apply tool or a placement service.
  • Not a replacement for a consultant, or for the platform you already run.
  • Not a claim about placements. Lumora does not measure employment outcomes and does not claim them.

The problem

Consultants keep fixing the same basic resume issues.

The first part of an appointment goes on the same repairs every time. A summary that says nothing. A duty list where achievements should be. Missing dates. A layout that will not survive a recruiter's first fifteen seconds.

It is the least specialised work a consultant does, it is the same work for the twentieth participant this month, and it consumes the part of the appointment where a person is most willing to talk. The coaching, the confidence, the complex barriers and the employer conversation all queue up behind the formatting.

Lumora does that first pass, in writing, before the appointment. Your consultants keep the judgement and get the minutes back.

What the participant gets

One sitting, and they leave with something usable.

  1. 1

They upload it however they have it

PDF, Word, plain text, or a phone photograph of a printed page. No account and no card is needed to see the first result.

  2. 2

They see the real problem, in plain English

The diagnosis is ordered by what is costing them interviews, and every issue is explained in ordinary words with why it matters to the person reading the application.

  3. 3

The wording gets stronger, and nothing gets invented

Lumora rewrites weak lines using only what is already in the resume. It never adds an employer, a date, a qualification, a ticket or a number.

  4. 4

Missing evidence is named, not filled in

Where a real detail would strengthen a line, Lumora marks the gap and asks the participant to supply it. Marked gaps are listed back to them explicitly.

  5. 5

Documents targeted at one real job ad

A tailored resume, a cover letter, a recruiter message, likely interview questions, a follow up message and an application checklist. Included at no cost for pilot participants.

  6. 6

They can practise the interview out loud

A mock interview graded on substance rather than delivery, with an AI voice option that is labelled beta in the product and is labelled beta here.

Everything above works on a phone. The first diagnosis and the general improvement need no account and no card at all, which is why a consultant can sit beside someone and go through it inside an appointment.

What your consultants and managers gain

The appointment starts at the useful part.

Better prepared participants

They arrive with the obvious problems already found and named, so the appointment does not begin at zero for the twentieth time this month.

Truthful, targeted documents

What the participant brings you is aligned to a real job ad and built only from their real history, so your review is a review rather than a rewrite.

Less repetitive work

The summary, the duty list bullet points, the formatting and the missing dates are the least specialised things a consultant does. Lumora does that pass first, in writing, whenever the participant is ready.

More appointment time for the hard part

Coaching, confidence, complex barriers, disclosure, employer relationships and suitability. None of that is something Lumora attempts, and all of it needs the minutes the basics were taking.

Gaps surfaced as gaps

Vague duties, unexplained breaks in work and undated roles show up in the diagnosis as things that need a human conversation, instead of being quietly smoothed over with plausible language.

Judgement stays with your team

Lumora has no view of a participant's circumstances, no ability to assess suitability and no relationship with an employer. Everything that makes a consultant useful sits outside what it does.

What your team does not get, said plainly

There is no live organisation dashboard, no single sign on and no integration with your case management system. Pilot level cohort results are reviewed with your organisation at the end of the pilot, and that review is the whole of the reporting. There is no consultant view of a participant's resume or documents either, and that one is a deliberate privacy decision rather than a gap. Lumora also never claims it will get anyone an interview or a job. If a pilot shows you genuinely need one of these, that is a conversation worth having on evidence rather than on a screenshot.

How the free pilot works

10 participants. 14 days. Nothing to sign.

  1. You apply

One short form, business contact details only. Please do not send us anything about a participant: no names, no case notes, no documents.

  2. You are approved straight away

Applications from an organisation email address are approved automatically, so there is no waiting on us. Personal mailboxes and organisations we have already set up get a short reply by email instead. Single sites and small organisations are welcome.

  3. You start it when you are ready

Approval emails you a start button rather than starting anything. Press it when your people can actually begin and you get your organisation's link immediately. The 14 days begin at that press, not when you applied, so no time is lost over a weekend.

  4. You choose up to 10 participants

You decide who, and you hand them the link. Pricing, purchase buttons and upgrade prompts are switched off for them for the whole pilot.

  5. You run it for 14 days

Participants get the full paid experience at no cost. No card is held at any point, by you or by them.

  6. We review the results together

Including the parts that did not work. If it did not help your participants, that is a useful answer and we will say so.

Participants reach Lumora through a link that is specific to your organisation. That link is what switches pricing off for them, and it is also what groups them, so pilot level cohort results can be reviewed with you at the end of the pilot. There is no live dashboard and nothing to log into. It is not published anywhere, and your participation is never displayed on this site.

No cost to your organisation and no cost to the participant. We agree what we are measuring before it starts, and we only measure leading indicators that Lumora directly affects. Interviews and placements have a dozen causes and your team owns most of them, so we will not attribute those to Lumora.

What happens after the pilot

At day 14, pilot access pauses. Your organisation decides what happens next.

  • Access pauses. Nothing renews, nothing converts and no invoice is generated.
  • Your organisation then chooses whether to subscribe, on the pricing below.
  • There is no card on file to charge, because we never took one.
  • If you do nothing, nothing happens. There is no contract to exit and no notice to give.
  • Participant accounts belong to the participants. They keep them on ordinary consumer terms whether or not your organisation subscribes.

Cost

Straightforward organisation plans.

Monthly, in Australian dollars, including GST. One participant credit covers one participant, and credits are granted each month when the invoice is paid.

A$299

including GST, per month

25 participant credits

Enough for 25 participants a month.

Most popular

A$499

including GST, per month

50 participant credits

Enough for 50 participants a month.

Best value

A$999

including GST, per month

150 participant credits

Enough for 150 participants a month.

More than 150 participants? Contact us and we will quote it properly rather than guess at a number on a page.

No charge during the pilot. No automatic billing after it.

If you would rather skip the pilot and start on a paid plan straight away, see the published plans. Monthly or annual, in Australian dollars including GST. A plan starts only at checkout, by someone authorised at your organisation, and nothing converts or renews without that choice.

Illustrative estimate, not a guaranteed saving

What it would have to save to pay for itself

Assume a loaded consultant cost of A$45 an hour, meaning salary plus on costs. Substitute your own figure and the shape does not change.

A$499 plan, 50 participants
Breaks even at about 11.1 staff hours a month, which is roughly 13 minutes per participant.
A$999 plan, 150 participants
Breaks even at about 22.2 staff hours a month, which is roughly 9 minutes per participant.

This is arithmetic, not a measured result. Lumora has not published time savings data, has no usage statistics to quote you, and does not promise a saving. Whether the time actually comes back is exactly what a pilot is for.

How participant information is handled

Straight answers, including the awkward ones.

These describe what the product does today, not what is planned. Where something is a limitation, it is written as one.

Row level security on every table holding participant data

It is enabled on every one of them, and every policy restricts rows to the owning user. Verified in the database, not asserted in marketing.

Your staff cannot see participant resumes, diagnoses or documents

No such read path exists in the product. If a participant wants you to see their resume, they export it and give it to you, exactly as they would with any other document.

Resume content is never shared with employers or advertisers

Never shared with employers, recruiters, data brokers or advertisers. This one is unconditional.

Card data never touches Lumora infrastructure

Payments run through Stripe hosted checkout. Lumora never sees or stores a card number, and during a pilot no card is involved at all.

Transmission and passwords

All third party transmission is over TLS. Passwords are hashed by our authentication provider.

Participant data is stored in the United States, not in Australia

Our database, authentication and file storage provider hosts this project in a United States region. We would rather you read that here than find it in a questionnaire. The privacy policy says the same thing.

Participants must be 16 or over

That is what our terms require, so a pilot cohort is adults and school leavers of working age.

What Lumora does not hold

Lumora holds no ISO, IRAP or Right Fit for Risk accreditation, and it is not on any panel. It is a small Australian product. We would rather you read that here than find it in a questionnaire.

The full detail is in the privacy policy, section 6 of which covers participants referred by an organisation, and in the terms. If your information security team needs something we have not answered here, ask us and we will put the answer in writing rather than talk around it.

What to do now

Start small. Measure whether it genuinely helps.

Up to 10 participants, 14 days from activation, no cost, no card and no contract, and an honest conversation about the results at the end of it.

Apply for a free 10-participant pilot

Business contact details only. Please do not send us anything about a participant: no names, no case notes, no documents.

Free pilot: up to 10 participants, 14 days from activation, no card, no contract, and no automatic conversion to a paid plan.

For example: Site Manager, Employment Consultant, Regional Manager.

A rough number is fine, for example about 10.

Sites, timing, or a constraint we should design the pilot around.
