How it works

Five steps, and the first four cost nothing.

Most people apply, hear nothing, and have no idea which part went wrong. This is the order that answers that, from the document to the conversation.

1

Upload the resume you already have

PDF, Word or plain text, or paste it in. No account needed to start, no credit card, nothing to cancel.

2

See what a recruiter sees

A score out of 100 with the reasons behind it: where the level reads wrong, where the impact is invisible, where a screener would stop reading. Written out, not a colored bar.

3

Fix the weak parts, and watch the number move

A cleaner professional summary, three to five rewritten bullets, and the wording cleanups. Apply a fix and the score changes by a real amount, with a line saying what moved.

4

Practice the interview out loud

A voice interviewer asks you questions for your target role, listens to your answers, and gives you a candid debrief on substance: did you answer the question, was it specific, did it land. Free, about ten minutes.

5

Tailor it to a job when you are ready

Paste a job posting and your resume is aligned to that role: honest keyword alignment, a match score, and the gaps named rather than filled in.

What costs money and what does not

Free means free. Paid is one payment.

About the currency. Lumora is an Australian company and charges in Australian dollars (AUD). Your bank converts at its own rate. One-time payment, no subscription, nothing to cancel. The figure on the button is the figure your card is charged, so there is no converted number here that turns into a different one at checkout.

One time purchases only. No subscription, no credits, no trial that converts. Read the Fair Billing Pledge →

What it will not do

The limits are the product.

A resume tool that fills in what you do not have is a tool that gets you caught in the interview. These are hard rules, not settings.

  • × Invent a job, a degree, a license, a date or a number you did not give us
  • × Turn a qualification from another country into a US credential
  • × Promise you an interview, a callback or a job
  • × Claim to beat every applicant tracking system
  • × Sign you up to a subscription, or bill you again later

Where a posting asks for something your resume does not evidence, Lumora says so and leaves the gap visible, so you can add a real example if you have one. A score is a reading of your document. It is not a promise that an employer will read it.

For organizations

Supporting a group of job seekers or students?

Workforce nonprofits, vocational and trade colleges, and community college career teams can run a short pilot with a small group: resume improvement and interview practice, one coordinator, clear start and end dates, and no automatic billing when it ends.

Honest answers

Questions people actually ask

Is the resume fix actually free?

Yes. Upload your resume and the improvement, the score with its reasons, the written diagnosis and the voice interview practice are all free. No credit card, no trial that converts, nothing to cancel. The result is yours to copy and use. You only pay if you want your resume rewritten and aligned to a specific job posting.

Why are the prices in Australian dollars?

Lumora is an Australian company and charges in Australian dollars (AUD). Your bank converts at its own rate. One-time payment, no subscription, nothing to cancel. Lumora is based in Perth, Western Australia. We show the currency your card is actually charged in rather than a converted figure we do not charge, so the number on the button is the number that reaches your statement, in AUD.

Will it rewrite my resume in American English?

Yes. When you arrive through this page the product writes in American English with US spelling and US resume conventions: no photo, no date of birth, city and state on the contact line, and certifications and licenses named the way US employers name them. Exports are on US Letter paper, not A4.

I trained or worked outside the US. Will it convert my qualifications?

No, and that is deliberate. A degree, license or certificate belongs to the system that issued it, and restating it as a US equivalent would be inventing a credential you cannot produce. Lumora writes your qualification as you wrote it, including the country or issuing body where you gave it, and says plainly where a posting asks for something your resume does not evidence.

Does Lumora show salary ranges?

Not in the US. The salary data behind that feature is Australian, so showing it to a US job seeker would be a confident wrong number in the one place where being wrong costs you money. The feature is switched off here until there is a US source worth standing behind.

Do you need an account for the interview practice?

No. You can run a practice interview without signing up. An account adds the studio voice and removes the daily limit, and it is free to create.

Is my resume private?

Your resume is used to build your own result and nothing else. It is never sold, and it is never shown to an employer or a recruiter by us. If you take part through a college or a workforce program, that organization sees participation counts, never your documents. You can delete your account and its content from your account page.
