Terms of Service

Effective 2 August 2026

These terms apply when you use Lumora (lumoraapply.com). By creating an account or making a purchase, you agree to them. They're written to be read. If anything is unclear, email support@lumoraapply.com.

1. What the service is

Lumora analyses the resume and job information you provide and generates a diagnosis of why your applications may not be converting. Paid products add rewritten, tailored application documents and related tools. The analysis is generated using AI from the information you give us. It is career guidance, not a guarantee.

2. What we don't promise

  • We do not promise you interviews, offers, or employment. Hiring decisions belong to employers.
  • Scores and recommendations are our system's informed judgement, not a statement of fact about you.
  • AI-generated content can contain errors. Review every document before you send it. You are responsible for what you submit to employers.

3. Honesty policy

Lumora never invents employers, roles, qualifications or metrics for your resume. Documents are written from the experience you provide. You must not use the service to create misleading application materials, and you're responsible for confirming everything in your final documents is true.

4. Your account

You must be at least 16 and provide accurate account information. You're responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend accounts used to abuse the service (including automated scraping, resale of outputs at scale, attempting to access other users' data, or unlawful use).

5. Individual job seekers: free fix and one-time purchases

This section applies to you if you are an individual using Lumora for your own job search. It is the only section that governs what you pay.

  • The free resume fix is free. No card details are requested and none are collected.
  • Prices are shown in Australian dollars. Payment is processed by Stripe.
  • Every individual purchase is a single payment, currently A$19, A$29, A$99. You pay once for what you bought.
  • These purchases do not renew. There is no subscription, no auto-renewal, no trial that turns into a charge, and no stored plan. We will never bill you a second time for an individual purchase.
  • If a purchase fails to deliver, for example your pack does not generate, contact us and we will fix it or refund you.

Sections 6, 7 and 8 apply only to organisations that buy Lumora for a group of participants. Nothing in them changes anything in this section.

6. Organisations: the free pilot

The pilot offered to employment services organisations, schools and similar organisations is free, and free means free.

  • Up to 10 participants, for 14 days.
  • No card, no contract, no automatic conversion and no billing. There is nothing to cancel, because nothing has been set up to charge you.
  • The 14 days begin when your pilot is activated, not when you apply. The gap between applying and activating is ours, not yours.
  • At the end of the 14 days, participant access under the pilot pauses. Your organisation then decides whether to subscribe. If you decide not to, nothing happens and nothing is charged.
  • Participants use Lumora under their own accounts and under these same terms. Your organisation pays for their places. It does not gain access to their resumes, diagnoses, scores or documents. Section 6 of our Privacy Policy sets out precisely what an organisation can and cannot see.

7. Organisations: monthly and annual subscriptions

When an organisation decides to pay for Lumora, it chooses a subscription plan at checkout. Billing starts only at that checkout: an authorised member of the organisation selects the plan, is shown the exact terms of that plan, confirms them, and pays through Stripe. Nothing starts on its own. The free pilot in section 6 never requires a card and never turns into a subscription.

  • Monthly subscriptions are billed monthly in Australian dollars, including GST: A$299 including GST for 25 participant credits, A$499 including GST for 50 participant credits, A$999 including GST for 150 participant credits. The included participant credit allowance refreshes with each paid month.
  • Annual subscriptions are paid upfront for 12 months in Australian dollars, including GST: A$2,990 including GST for 25 participant credits each month, A$4,990 including GST for 50 participant credits each month, A$9,990 including GST for 150 participant credits each month. That is twelve months for the price of ten, described on the site as two months free.
  • On an annual subscription the monthly allowance still arrives month by month, anchored to the date the subscription started. Paying for a year upfront does not grant a year of credits at once.
  • Cancelling a monthly subscription stops billing at the end of the month you have already paid for. Cancelling an annual subscription stops it renewing at the end of the paid year and does not remove access before then. Cancellation happens self-service through the billing portal and never removes access already paid for or your participants' records.
  • A failed payment grants nothing. If a charge does not go through, no new participant credits are granted for that period unless and until the payment succeeds. Credits and access already paid for are not affected.

8. Organisation credits, top-ups and cancellation

  • Included credits are granted for each month of a paid subscription, whether the subscription is billed monthly or annually, and do not roll over. Credits you do not use in a billing month are not carried into the next one.
  • Top-ups are optional and never automatic. A top-up is a one-time purchase of A$99 including GST for 10 additional participant credits, available only while your organisation has an active paid plan. Top-up credits expire 90 days after purchase or when your subscription ends, whichever comes first. We never add a top-up to your bill ourselves.
  • You can cancel an organisation subscription at any time through the Stripe customer portal, without contacting us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for, a month on a monthly plan or a year on an annual plan, and you keep access for the rest of that period.

9. Refunds

Because paid outputs are generated and delivered immediately, we generally don't refund change-of-mind purchases. We do refund purchases that are faulty, not delivered, or materially not as described. Email support@lumoraapply.com within 14 days. Organisation plans are ended by cancelling rather than by refund, as set out in section 8. Nothing in these terms excludes your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, including consumer guarantees that cannot be excluded.

10. Your content and ours

  • You keep all rights to the resume and other content you provide. You give us permission to process it to provide the service (including AI processing described in our Privacy Policy).
  • Documents generated for you are yours to use for your own job search.
  • The Lumora software, brand, scoring system and site content belong to us and may not be copied or resold.

11. Privacy

How we handle your information, including your resume, is described in our Privacy Policy. The short version: your resume is used to produce your results, never sold, and never shared with employers or advertisers.

12. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for claims connected to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (or A$50 if you've paid nothing). We're not liable for indirect losses such as lost income or lost opportunities. This limitation does not apply to liability that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

13. Ending or changing the service

You can stop using Lumora at any time, and you can delete your account and everything in it yourself from your account page. We may change or discontinue features; if we discontinue something you've paid for and not yet received, we'll refund that purchase. We may update these terms. Material changes will be notified by email or in the product, and the effective date above will change.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Australia, and disputes are subject to the courts of Australia.
