For schools and careers teams
Students who arrive ready.
Lumora is an Australian AI career platform. It shows a student why their application is not working, strengthens it without inventing anything, and lets them practise the interview before it counts.
Built in Perth. Designed to make a careers conversation start further forward, not to replace it.
- Free pilot for 10 senior students or recent alumni
- No experience, qualifications or results invented
- Résumés stay private and are never shared with employers
- Works on a phone, with no account and no card to start
- For students aged 16 and over
- Nothing to sign, and no cost during the trial
What a student gets
Five steps, in the order a student actually walks them.
See what is actually wrong
A PDF, a Word file, or a phone photo of a printed page. Lumora reads it the way a recruiter does and says plainly what is weak.
Free, no account, no card
Strengthen it, inventing nothing
A cleaner summary and rewritten bullet points, built only from what the student has really done. Missing evidence gets named, not filled in.
Free
Tailor it to a real job ad
Honest alignment to the role they are actually applying for, plus the cover letter, the recruiter message and an application checklist.
Paid for consumers, free during a pilot
Know the ground they stand on
Career HQ shows the role, the skills that keep appearing in Australian ads for it, and what the work pays here. Sourced and labelled, not guessed.
Included
Practise before it counts
A mock interview graded on substance, not delivery. Students can do it out loud with an AI voice recruiter that asks, listens and debriefs.
Voice practice is in beta, best in Chrome or Edge
Steps one and two are free to anyone. Tailoring is a one time payment, never a subscription. During a pilot, students are not asked to pay for anything.
What it gives your team
It gives you back the part of the job that repeats.
They arrive past the basics
Formatting, the weak summary and duty-list bullet points are handled before the appointment, so the conversation starts somewhere more useful.
Less repeating first-pass advice
What a careers coordinator explains twenty times a term, Lumora explains first, in writing, whenever the student is ready to read it.
Something concrete to work on
A specific diagnosis and a specific job ad instead of an open question. That is the difference between a fifteen minute appointment and a real one.
Honest exposure to AI at work
Students see AI improve what is true about them and refuse to invent the rest. Worth learning before they use something that will not refuse.
The rules it holds
What Lumora will not do, in writing.
Nothing is invented
No qualification, ticket, employer, date, grade or number is ever added. Where the evidence is missing, Lumora says so.
The résumé stays private
Used for the student's own results and nothing else. Never sold, never shared with employers, and no school sees a document unless the student hands it over.
The student stays in control
They review every word before it goes anywhere, and can copy it, edit it, ignore it or delete their account.
Aged 16 and over
Lumora's terms require users to be at least 16, so the pilot is senior students and recent alumni. We would rather say that plainly than quietly stretch it.
There is also no live staff dashboard, no single sign on, no integration with your student system and no co branding, and Lumora never claims it will get anyone a job or an interview. Reporting is a conversation rather than a screen: pilot level results are reviewed with your school at the end of the pilot, against measures we agree with you before it starts. There is nothing to log into and no automated report. If a pilot shows a school genuinely needs one of the other things, that is a conversation worth having on evidence rather than on a screenshot.
The pilot
10 students. 14 days. Nothing to sign.
10 students
Enough to see a pattern, small enough for you to actually run.
14 days
Counted from the day you press start, not from the day you ask. Nothing burns while you organise a cohort.
Aged 16+, or recent alumni
Senior students, or students who have just left.
No cost
Nothing to sign, no invoice, no obligation afterwards.
The point is to find out whether students are measurably better prepared, not to sell a rollout. Nothing about pricing or a school wide deployment has been offered or assumed. If it does not help your students, that is a useful answer too.
During a pilot, students are never shown a price and are never asked to pay for anything. At day 14, pilot access pauses and your school decides what happens next. Nothing is deleted: students keep their accounts and everything Lumora wrote for them.

Straight answers
The questions we get asked first.
- Does it write the résumé for them?
- No. It improves the wording of what the student has really done, and shows them why each change is stronger. Where the evidence is missing, it tells them to go and get the real example rather than writing one.
- Can our staff see what students produce?
- Not through Lumora. There is deliberately no school facing view of a student's documents. If a student wants your feedback, they bring you their own work, the same as with anything else.
- What about students under 16?
- Outside the current terms, so outside this pilot. Doing it responsibly would need parental consent handling and further safeguards, and we will not pretend those exist before they are built.
- What does it cost the school?
- Nothing for the trial, and nothing has been priced or proposed for a school beyond it. A student who buys Lumora for themselves pays once for that job: no subscription, and nothing that renews. Lumora does sell monthly plans to organisations that fund places for a group of participants, so if a school ever wanted that, we would price it openly rather than quietly.
